My first day on the job was awesome!!! J-Dawgs is SO much crazier than Coney's!!! There is a line out the door from the moment we open, which is nice because it makes time totally fly by :) It did, however, cause me to screw up several times on the register... I'm lucky that I have really nice forgiving co-workers. I am super excited to be working there, and I can't wait to work again (weird huh?).

Today my A Cappella choir went to the Food and Care Coalition (a place where people who are in need can go and get a hot meal, and have a place to sleep) down in Provo in order to lift some spirits. It was a lot of fun. The group that came was pretty small, but we were still able to sing most of the songs from our Christmas concert, plus a few. The people that were there appreciated it so much, and it was really cool to get to talk to them and hear some of there stories. Caroline and I talked to a woman (also named Caroline) who really liked my glasses and loved our singing, and a man named Robert who had been married three times, and who's anniversary is the day after Christmas. He told me that he hoped that the Lord would bring along someone special for me to meet and marry some day, and he also told me that I'd know he was the one the moment I saw him. Let's hope that Robert know's what he's talking about... :) It was really neat to just be able to spend time with these incredible people and share a little bit of Christmas cheer with them.

After I got home from the food and care, I took the kids out to Chick-File for dinner (mom and dad were at a work party), and then we came home and decorated ginger bread houses and watched A Christmas Story (two of our favorite Christmas traditions)! I love spending time with my little siblings, and it was great to have them all to my self :)

Probably by now you are all thinking: "Rian can't draw and has given up on her 30 day challenge... she just keeps posting these photographs!" Well, in you're face everyone! Here are TWO drawings! One from today and one from yesterday.

Day 5: Your best friend
My best friend in the whole wide world is none other than my little sis Phoebe. She is often what keeps me going when life gets nuts (which is often). She is beautiful, SO talented (I am jealous), funny, kind, spiritual, and overall INCREDIBLE!! I look up to her so much (literally... she's an inch taller than me), and I definitely don't know what I'd do without her. LOVE YOU PHOEBS!!!!!!
See what I mean!!? GORGEOUSNESS!!!! And this picture doesn't even come close to doing her justice!

Day 6: Favorite Book Character
This would have to be Lady Vin from the Mistborn Trilogy by my favorite author EVER, Brandon Sanderson. Seriously, every single one of his books is ingenious. And Vin? She's one of the best heroines I've ever come across.
Here she is in all her glory (at least this is kind of how I picture her in my head... I'm sure she actually looks even more epic than this... anyway...) LOVE HER, and LOVE SANDERSON. Read his books. Just do it.

Alrighty folks, that's all for now! Over and out!
